Who can attend?

Students, alumni, and friends of the Claremont Colleges are welcome. Caltech students are also invited.

Do I need a team?

No. Many participants form teams at the event. We will facilitate team formation in the morning. Teams can have up to 4 people.

What if I don’t know how to code?

You should still come. This event is beginner-friendly, and mentors will be available to help you build.

What are the rules?

All coding must happen during the hackathon. You may plan ideas beforehand. If you use an existing project, clearly indicate what was built during the event.

When does hacking start and end?

Hacking begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM. Submissions are due at 6:00 PM.

Is food provided?

Meals are available for purchase at nearby dining halls of the Claremont Colleges, at restaurants in the village, and snacks will be provided throughout the day.

How are projects judged?

Projects are evaluated on technical depth, originality, real-world impact, and execution/polish.

How do I submit my project?

Submission details will be provided during the event. Expect a demo + brief presentation.
